Water Meter Analyst
The South Adams County Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD), dedicated to providing affordable and sustainable water resources to its customers, is seeking an innovative individual to join the Meter Services Department.
This position will perform analysis of the meter data management system in relation to consumption and leak control. The analyst will perform extracts and reporting on data and information in addition to producing, maintaining, and utilizing spreadsheets and databases to support meter service. This position also assists with meter installs, repairs and troubleshooting in the field.
- Investigate and troubleshoot leak data on customer water consumption
- Evaluate and recommend solutions
- Create and maintain various spreadsheets and data
- Liaison with customer care on analysis of high usage customers
- Investigate and analyze data on excessive or unauthorized water usage
- Provides customer service to customers while in the field
Qualified candidates should have a High School Diploma OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years related meter experience in utilities preferred, specifically as it relates to water meter management software.
Demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of data, with strong Excel skills. Solid knowledge of meter operations with demonstrated technical troubleshooting capabilities. Ability to work independently with solid problem solving and communication skills necessary.

Salary range: $21.73 – 32.60/hr
The successful candidate will be required to complete a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
