Job Description

The South Adams County Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD), dedicated to providing affordable and sustainable water resources to its customers, is seeking an innovative individual to join the IT Department.

This position will administer and provide support to the District’s asset management systems (AMS) and strategy, including development, maintenance, implementation, deployment, updating, analysis and planning. 

  • Troubleshoots and resolves end user issues
  • Partners with GIS department on data integration
  • Defines asset knowledge standards
  • Develops and updates fields for tracking maintenance, assets and facilities
  • Trains and/or coordinates training for AMS users
  • Documents standards for asset management software
  • Partners with IT colleagues, consultants and vendors regarding AMS needs

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.  4 years computer related experience in applications/customer support or related including SQL and Microsoft products.  Experience with asset management/CMMS tools preferred.

Proficient, demonstrated technical troubleshooting capabilities.  Solid knowledge with MS operating systems and database administration.  Prior experience with municipalities/utilities helpful.  Ability to work independently with solid problem solving, customer service and communication skills necessary.

Salary range:  $50,169.70  – $75,275.20/annually


The successful candidate will be required to complete a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
